What we know.

Spiritual truth is simple, self-evident and universal.
This is the underlying premise of all the contemplations in this guide.
“Unless you become like a child you can not enter the kingdom of heaven.”
Spiritual truth does not require a degree to understand. If it cannot be explained to a child, then it is not essential to know God.
We may use more vocabulary to aide in the contemplation, however if we are doing our job correctly, the core truth should pass this litmus test.
“If you hold to my teachings, then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.”
Spiritual truth is validated by experience not creeds, dogmas, or debate.
If the two above are true, then it follows that spiritual truth is universal.
Spiritual truth was just as true in 2000 BC in a North African tribe as it will be in year 3000 AD in Los Angelas..
Simple truth does not mean easy.
Narrow is the road, wide is the road to destruction. The more you know, the narrower the road.
“He who does not carry his cross cannot follow me.”
You you think you are will have to die to become who you really are.
All truth comes from the same source.
There are many words for what we mean when we say “God”.
Humans across time and space name the nameless to communicate our ideas, but this is semantics.
For the purposes of this guide, we use words like God, Source, I Am, Limitless Light… words that do not convey allegiance to a particular institution.
However, in this guide, wherever a word is used to describe the Ineffable, it should be assumed that we are more concerned with the meaning of that word, and not it’s affiliation to any institution or religion.
Truth is beyond words.
No matter our best attempts to describe truth, words are not the truth itself.
Words, stories, rituals, laws, ceremonies…. they point us to the truth.
Truth is law.
Truth does not care if you believe it or not. It still governs our reality.
The good news is truth is something you know, it’s not something you believe.
You don’t have to believe in gravity, you just have to know that when you sit down your chair is not going to float away.

The more responsibility you take for the outcomes of your life, the better your life will be.
Blaming your parents, ex-narcissist parents, or childhood abuse as a reason for your inability to live in love keeps you in chains; it is a dead-end,
Repentance and forgiveness are both acts of self-responsibility and go hand in hand.
Neither take on the responsibility of another, they take on just the right amount, but how much is up to you and how much you can bare.
“Forgive them for they know not what they do”
“They son of man could call down angels.”
Not even Jesus who was crucified for his innocence allowed himself to be a martyr.
You are not broken, you have forgotten who you are.
The story of original sin is a tradition, not a truth.
In practice, this tradition creates more shame ad less empowerment or motivation to do what is right and of service to the world.
The story of the prodigal son, is a story about every person.
Eternity has already started.
You create heaven or hell in every moment of your life. Fixating on the afterlife, or treating this life as an entrance exam, separates you from God and the Kingdom of Heaven in your midst.
